About Me.
Kyle Fox Douglas is a New York City based theater, film, and television actor. As the son of two Jamaican immigrants, his home life instilled in him not only a disciplined work ethic, but a love for creating and telling stories.
Kyle earned his BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Since then, he has appeared in projects for Netflix, Amazon, and Peacock, as well as several independent short films and Off-Broadway productions. As a writer and director, he received the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant for his short film Gripped, which he wrote, directed, and starred in.
As an artist, he is interested in telling stories that reflect contemporary issues. Stories that provoke thought, challenges, and agitate us. As a player, he hopes to explore and create dynamic characters from those stories, that reflect the (sometimes complex, awkward, painful, funny, indifferent, radical, and always surprising) human experience.
When he’s not tending to his artistic pursuits, you can find him rock climbing at a bouldering gym in the city or searching for the best Thai food in New York. He listens to a lot of rap, doesn’t have social media (on purpose), and prefers that you explore the site instead—you might just find what you’re looking for (on his terms).
